Flowers everywhere

Alright, where's my Staples easy button? Because after meeting my florist, that's exactly what I needed. Today I met with Flowers by Emily. She's the first florist I interviewed and quite honestly the last. Maybe it's the fact that I'm getting closer everyday and all the wedding planning has exhausted me of vendor meetings. Or, perhaps it's that flowers aren't my biggest priority by a long shot. But I like to think it's because Emily was so nice, so cute and so helpful. I just felt like she got it. Her shop is adorable and the music she was playing, well, right up my alley. Overall, I couldn't be happier with our meeting. After our brief, albeit productive, meeting I walked away with this as my inspiration.

Look out world, here we come!!

It's official, we're international globe trotters! Well, not yet, but soon. Very soon. And these will help us get there.

Aren't we such a cute passport couple?

Sharp as a tack this one is!

So we picked up T's suit this past weekend and well, pictures speak louder than words so here we go...
I'd love to know what he's thinking right now.

Good times, great friends!

Even though this has nothing to do with mine and Colton's wedding, I felt the need to share.

In recent months Colton and I have befriended a most dynamic couple. They have forced us out of our little shell and introduced us to some wonderful people. In a mere matter of months we have pockets full of fun memories and hearts full of gratitude for the wonderful couple who have brought so much to our lives.

In true Nicole and Shannon fashion they decided to push their wedding up almost a full year and pulled off, with immense help from family and friends, a wedding focused on what really mattters. Family and friends. It was a party that no one wanted to leave. One that when the lights finally flickered and you were headed home you felt satisfied knowing that life is good and love is still just as giddying and contagious as ever was.

Start to finish it was a fun wedding. Everything from Shannon's beautiful vows analogizing moss and rock, he being the moss of course, to the newly wedded couple trying to exit through the locked door after the ceremony, to the beautiful toasts, to the dancing and karaoke. That's right, karaoke. We were lucky to have so much plain 'ol fun.

So while this post may not directly relate to mine and Colton's wedding, I can only hope that our day will capture the same essence that this beautiful couple manages to inspire around them.
